The SmartFiller fills Luer Lock and oral syringes from 1ml to 60ml
The SmartFiller fills up to 300 syringes per hour with an accuracy of 1% for 60ml syringes and 2% for 1ml syringes. The technical life span of the machine is 10 years. After filling the syringes the machine does not require any cleaning, as the drug fluid does not get in touch with the machine. All materials used for filling the syringes are disposable.
The SmartFiller allows hospital pharmacies and commercial compounding pharmacies to aseptically fill batches of syringes on a small scale. Because the syringes are pre-filled, hospital staff is not exposed to high-risk medication. As such, these syringes ensure improved patient safety and improved working conditions for staff, e.g. by avoiding repetitive strain injury.
